Alex is a Peruvian born physician. He received his medical degree from Universidad San Martin de Porres in Lima Peru where he was born and raised. Moved to Morristown New Jersey in 2015 to complete his Internal Medicine training where he also spent an additional year as Chief Resident. He is now an infectious diseases fellow at University of Miami and Jackson Health Systems in Miami, Florida. Alex likes teaching, mentoring, and discussing new medical research in internal medicine and infectious diseases. In his off time, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, learning new recipes, exploring new restaurants, going to gym and gaming on his custom-made PC.
