Antonia is currently an MD/PhD student at New York Medical College (NYMC).

She graduated from UC San Diego in 2016 with a B.S. in Human Biology and a B.A. in Psychology. In 2017, she pursued the accelerated B.S/M.S program with a thesis dissertation on the neuroelectrophysiology of learning and memory. The pursuit of understanding how benchwork science furthers medicine has led her to her current MD/PhD program at NYMC. She is in her fifth year of the MD/PhD program focusing on translational research of infantile epilepsy. Her other research interests involve data science in health tracking devices and space medicine.

She would like to help students navigate the application cycle for both MD and MD/PhD programs, as she served as a student interviewer for the past three years at NYMC.
