Chloe Zana
About
Chloe is an incoming French dental student at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She received her B.S. in Neuroscience with honors from Brown University in 2020. At Brown, she balanced her time between neurogenetics and public health research, volunteering as a medical and dental assistant, being president of Brown’s Pre-Dental Society, advocating with Brown Opioid Activists, and getting involved in Jewish life. She also started college with a passion for teaching and mentoring, which led her to teach English to adult immigrants, and mentor female science students and pre-dental peers. As a Sophomore, this same passion pushed her to become a dentist and improve patient’s oral health literacy and access to dental care, after she considered becoming an orthopedic surgeon. Chloe applied and gained admission to a dozen of dental schools as a Senior, both public and private, receiving a few scholarship offers.
