Cindy is currently attending the Medical College of Wisconsin and working towards a dual degree in M.D. and M.S. in Clinical and Translational Science. She received her B.S. degree from Johns Hopkins University with honors in Neuroscience and minors in Business and Visual Arts. In college, she received the Dean’s Undergraduate Research Award to conduct an independent research project to study memory functions in children with autism spectrum disorders. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Eugene Leake Award for outstanding achievement in art. During her gap year in D.C., Cindy volunteered at a non-profit art gallery to curate art and host programs for cancer patients. She also worked as a business development intern for a global health company to expand strategies that may help end the global AIDS pandemic.
