Harry(Yuxuan) Wu

About
Harry(Yuxuan) Wu, originally from Hangzhou, China, and currently pursuing my M.D. at Howard University College of Medicine. He graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Computer Science, where he had the opportunity to explore interdisciplinary research, particularly in neuron modeling of axons involved in spine injuries. In my free time, he enjoys reading, playing racket sports, and learning about different cultures and histories.
Having transitioned from an international high school to college in the U.S., he knows firsthand the challenges F-1 students face. During my time at Emory, he mentored fellow international students and got involved in programs like the International Rescue Committee’s ESL initiatives. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to supporting international students and helping create more opportunities for them in healthcare.
He is passionate about sharing insights on MCAT prep and am happy to offer strategic advising sessions. He also enjoys working with students over time to refine study habits, adapt strategies, and tailor methods to fit their personal learning styles. Additionally, he is available to help with pre-med application planning, activity guidance, and providing feedback on personal statements.
