Isabela is a medical student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed her B. S. in Biomedical Sciences at Western Michigan University in 2023, with minors in Chemistry and Medical Humanities. She moved from Brazil to the United States at the age of 16 to pursue her education. During college, she worked as a supplemental instructor and course assistant for multiple classes, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. She also received the Haenicke Global Scholarship through her university as a recognition of her academic achievements. During her free time, Isabela volunteers at food banks, hospice facilities, and mentorship organizations.
