Paolo de Angelis
About
Paolo is a 4th year medical student at Weill Cornell Medicine in NYC. He is originally from Milan, Italy. After finishing high school, he moved to Ithaca (NY), where he attended Cornell University. He graduated with a BA in biological sciences, focusing on neurobiology. During his college years, he served as a mentor with several student groups and as an international students admission ambassador. He was also involved in basic science research and played rugby on Cornell’s rugby team. After graduation, he took a gap year to conduct research at Rockefeller University and then enrolled in medical school. He is interested in pursuing general surgery and eventually specialize in pediatric surgery.
