Rachel is rising MS4 at the Yale School of Medicine. Born and raised in Lebanon, she holds a BS in biochemistry from Yale College, Class of 2020. During her time in college, Rachel worked as an undergraduate research assistant in neurogenetics and structural biology, an EMT, and a science tutor. As a native Arabic speaker, she frequently volunteered as a translator for Arabic-speaking families and patients in New Haven. During medical school, she has been involved in clinical and outcomes research, particularly in oncology, volunteered with Yale's free clinic, and served as team lead of F1 doctors during the 2021 calendar year.
