Sonia is a first-generation Iranian-Canadian studying medicine at Nova Southeastern’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences from Western University in London, Ontario. 
Afterward, Sonia completed a one-year Master's of Science Degree at Columbia University in Human Nutrition. Besides medicine, Sonia has a passion for nutrition, dance, languages, yoga, and wellness. She encourages you to reach out to her for any questions concerning her path to medicine, her transition to living in the US, her passion for osteopathic manipulative medicine, and the role of health and wellness in medicine.
