Valentina was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She moved to the United States at the young age of 17 after graduating high school. She received her undergraduate B.S in Biology from Nova Southeastern University. During her time in college, Valentina served as secretary of NSU’s Pre-Dental Society and was an active member of the Latin American Student Association. In her spare time, she volunteered at local community service events and shadowed a couple of dentists. Valentina is currently a second-year dental student at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. In addition to her DMD degree, she is obtaining a certificate in Public Health. She currently serves as president of the Hispanic Student Dental Association and Students United with America’s Toothfairy. Valentina is also a student ambassador for A.T. Still University.
