Violet is a 2nd year medical student at DUSOM. She is from Hong Kong, and graduated from Vassar College in 2020. She took 3 gap years to work in research full-time at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and the Yale Psychology Department Clinic. She also found time to volunteer in different labs.
After college, Violet worked at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence as a post-graduate associate and then as the clinic coordinator for the Yale Psychology Department Clinic. Both positions provided valuable opportunities to work on publications and also volunteer with local clinics.
