About

Yatin is a medical student originally from India who graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a B.S. in Biology and minors in Bioinformatics, Business, and Honors Transdisciplinary Studies. He participated in NSU's 7-Year Accelerated BS/DO program, securing an early seat in the College of Osteopathic Medicine. Yatin’s interests in geopolitics and community service led him to internships with the Embassy of India in Washington, D.C., and the South Florida Division of the American Red Cross. As an undergraduate, he also served as an international student mentor and student leader in various campus organizations. Currently, Yatin is Vice President of his medical class, the school voting delegate to both the Florida Medical Association (FMA) and the American Medical Association (AMA), and a Research Intern at the Egil and Pauline Braathen Center for Neuroscience at Cleveland Clinic. He is currently interested in pursuing either General Surgery, Anesthesiology, or Neurology. Outside of medicine, Yatin is an avid Patriots and Manchester United fan, and spends his free time traveling/exploring new places/foods and playing Ice Hockey.
